Colour Me Happy: Rainbow Optimism

We're all needing a bit of colour in our lives at the moment, and with the current situation dampening our spirits, we're turning to bold and intense colour to cheer us up. Rainbows colours are a unifying symbol of positivity and hope, with soothing blues adding a sense of reassurance.

Let us know what you think to this palette! Would you use it?

Incredibly Talented Black Illustrators We Admire

We understand that we will never understand. We want to learn more and do better,
so we are listening, watching, reading and sharing what we can.

Today we're using our platform to share the work of some incredibly talented black illustrators.
Black artists inspire us every day, and though it is a very small show of our support and something that should not be limited only to the current climate, it is one small way
to celebrate the amazing artistic talent coming out of the black community
with our large platform of followers.

If you are a black surface pattern designer or illustrator, comment at the bottom of with your instagram and we'll do our best to share as many on our stories as we can :)

Colour Me Happy!

I think we're all needing an injection of colour at the moment,
so here's a nature inspired slice of colour inspo to make you say ahhhhh.

Shots of bright lilac are cheerfully popping up everywhere at the moment,
much like the pretty florals the colour takes its name from,
and paired with tones of green and mint it makes a lovely
fresh palette that makes us think of summer meadows!

Open & Staying Positive!

Hello all,

We hope you and your families are all safe and well.

In light of recent events, we wanted to let you know what's happening
at Paper & Cloth and how we can continue to support you
during this time.

Whilst everything has changed as a society, the way
we work at P&C remains the same.
Our team has over 10 years of remote working.
We are open and continue to be operating a full
studio service working on P&C's artwork collections
and fulfilling commissions.

As many of you know, Trade Shows and appointments
has been postponed until further notice, however we
can work with you to accommodate these new challenges.
We offer remote screen share previews
and have the ability to facilitate team viewings
so you and your colleagues can view art together
from different locations.

We are here when you are ready.

Our thoughts are with you and your families.
We will embrace these new ways of working
together.

Lots of love,
The P&C team
x

Colour Me Happy!

It's been a while since we've posted a bit of palette inspiration,
and with everything seeming a bit drab at the moment we think
we're in need of a little bit of colour.

This combo of peach and sage is cheering us right up,
especially with the addition of a soft blue-grey and a pop of poppy!
